When a leak or spill has occurred, ET has the engineering experience to select the appropriate site-specific cleanup technology. In many cases ET can obtain site closure without massive cleanup. After a complete assessment of impacted areas has been conducted, many sites can qualify for closure utilizing a combination of risk analysis and natural attenuation monitoring. ET has the experience to guide you through the regulatory red tape to get your site closed via the most direct route.

Some leaks/spills require more advanced technology and larger scale remediation. For more complex projects, ET is experienced in choosing the most cost effective and expeditious method of site clean-up. ET will thoroughly evaluate site parameters to develop multiple methods of remediation and subsequently offer recommendation based on a technical and budgetary evaluation. This allows you to select the remedial option of your choice.

In some cases remedial systems are the most effective cleanup technology. ET has conducted many remedial system pilot tests to evaluate the most effective use of various technologies. ET has experience testing, installing, and operating in-situ systems including free product recovery, multi-phase extraction, soil vapor extraction, air sparging, bioventing, and many other technologies. We optimize our system design using advanced computer modeling. ET has experience with enhanced bioremediation using Oxygen Release Compound (ORC) and other methods which stimulate naturally occurring microbes in the soil without removing the soil. For all remedial technologies, ET can optimize your remediation to obtain your final goal of site closure.

At some properties, a potable water well has been contaminated or is threatened by a leak or spill. ET has effective solutions to remediate contamination and to prevent future contamination of wells. Wellhead protection services include computer modeling to delineate the zone or zones around a well vulnerable to capture of contaminants and to provide property owners and municipalities the tools necessary to determine setbacks and appropriate zoning.
