ET
has performed numerous comprehensive geologic and hydrogeologic investigations
using a push probe sampler, as well as other drilling methods. Our push
probe sampler collects continuous or discrete core samples for soil
classification and contamination measurement. Field screening of soil
samples allows for rapid delineation of contamination. The push probe
sampler is mounted on a skid steer to allow access to all terrains.
Groundwater samples can also be collected at any discrete interval by
utilizing a pump and Tygon tubing. Borings are abandoned by injecting
bentonite clay from a grout pump.
The data
collected during the geologic or hydrogeologic investigations is used
for completing soil boring log construction soil/bedrock cross-sections
and mapping contaminant plumes. If groundwater monitoring is required,
ET can install push probe monitoring wells. Monitoring wells allow
us to determine groundwater flow direction, hydraulic conductivity,
and provide a groundwater sampling point for quarterly monitoring.
ET
has experienced handling investigations that range from simple
to
complex. We scale the job to suit your needs. Investigation services
also include surveying, groundwater sampling, vapor surveys, groundwater
receptor surveys, risk assessments, natural attenuation monitoring,
groundwater flow modeling and complex data analysis. Our geologists
and hydrogeologists proved in-depth expertise to complete investigations
according to your requirements and government regulations.
